I have been telling stories for my entire professional life. From covering parades and police for a small-town newspaper to marketing for nonprofit organizations, I have always used words to let the reader see and smell and feel the story.
I have a journalism degree from the University of Georgia. In 2009, I won two News Writing awards from the Georgia Broadcasters Association and in 2011, was a finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Awards. As a freelance writer since 2010, I have written about travel, cars, pets, restaurants, museums and many more topics. Sometimes the most fun about writing is learning about the topic at hand.
I believe in being accurate, paying attention to detail, and meeting deadlines. If you hire me, I will work with you until you are happy with the final product.
